About the founder:

Vito was a member of First Chicago Bank (now JPMorgan Chase) for several years, leading commercial banking audit engagements including risk assessments, audit planning, control evaluation and verification of issue closure. After First Chicago Bank, Vito led the accounting department at a Pietro Cucchi America, responsible for company-wide financial analysis. Upon discovering a passion for helping small businesses with tax and accounting services, Vito launched VA Accounting + Income Tax fifteen years ago with the commitment to help both businesses and individuals succeed. Dedicated to guiding growth with transparency and expert advice, Vito has helped his clients make informed financial decisions. Vito has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Illinois in Chicago and is an enrolled agent to practice before the IRS.
